This Privacy Policy explains how SARVAGNANEE TECHNOLOGIES PVT. LTD., operating as gnanee.dev("gnanee", "we", "us"), collects, uses, shares and protects personal data across our website and platform (the "Services"). It covers two groups:
We act as a data controller for the personal data described here.
From clients and visitors: name, work email, company, role, hashed password and preferences; billing name/address and transaction records (card details are handled by our payment processors, not stored by us); usage and technical data (IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, searches and actions, cookie data — see our Cookie Policy); and communications you send us.
About engineers we profile (collected via official third-party APIs and public sources — see the Candidate Notice): professional identifiers and public profile information, public code and project activity, published packages, public technical writing, and the signals and rankings we compute. We do not intentionally collect special-category/sensitive data.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have balanced them against individuals' rights (summary available on request). Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
We share personal data with: Clients (we make candidate profiles and rankings available for recruitment; Clients are independent controllers of data they access and must comply with applicable law); service providers (hosting, analytics, payment processing, email, support — bound to process data only on our instructions); legal/safety recipients where required by law or to protect rights; and in a business transfer (merger, acquisition or asset sale), subject to this Policy.
We do not sell personal data. We make candidate profiles available to Clients solely for recruitment. Individuals can claim their profile or opt out of indexing at any time — see the Candidate Notice.
We may process and store data in countries other than yours. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent) for cross-border transfers.
Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR/UK GDPR, India's DPDP Act, CCPA/CPRA and other US state laws), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your data; object to or restrict processing; withdraw consent; opt out of targeted advertising or "sale"/"sharing"; and not be discriminated against for exercising rights. We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymise it. Account and billing records are kept for the period required by law. Candidate profile retention is described in the Candidate Notice.
We use technical and organisational measures (encryption in transit, access controls, monitoring) to protect personal data. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Services are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be notified by email or in-product, and the "last updated" date will change.
